The Norwegian Rueda Standard is an initiativ from SalsaNor (Stavanger, Norway), developed in cooperation with leading instructors in cuban salsa and rueda in Norway.

The most important developement arena is the annual Norwegian Rueda Congress, a "travelling" rueda congress, which every third year is hosted in Stavanger, Norway, in which year the Norwegian Rueda Standard normally is revised. The alternate years the congress is travelling to other European cities with an established scene of rueda de casino. 

Part 1 (abt. 50 moves) of the standard was made in 2002,
part 2 (abt. 50 new moves) was added in 2005,
part 3 (abt. 20 new moves) was added in 2008, where
  abt. 10 moves were deleted

History
The idea of a Norwegian Rueda Standard appeared in 2002. Since then, this standard been an important concept to make it possible to dance rueda de casino together throughout the country.
